For the first time, the number of active addresses on Ethereum has been greater than the number of active addresses on Bitcoin for 5 straight days (currently going on 6).

According to bitinfocharts this is the longest period of time Ethereum has ever had more active addresses than Bitcoin. The previous best streak was 4 straight days in mid-January.

Because smart contracts on Ethereum can also act as active addresses it's not a 1 to 1 metric, and it is furthermore not an indicator of number of users of each blockchain ofc. Nevertheless I think it's an interesting comparison to keep an eye on for daily use, given that Bitcoin is still a better benchmark for reference than just about anything else.
