URP – A New Performance Marketing Tool for Retailers and Brands.
I own a small shopping complex. Recently, I came across a blockchain-based protocol that redefines the relationship between shoppers, retailers and brands. Universal Reward Protocol, provides a unique ecosystem for all retailers to reward their customers for any type of shopping behaviour, and for sharing the corresponding data with the retailer. It guarantees reach, data quality, and scalability using blockchain technology. Actions to attract new visitors or increase conversion rates require data about potential prospects. However, physical retailers like me have no information about who visits the store or what they are looking for. And fortunately, URP provides an end-to-end technology solution allowing physical retailers to identify and analyse each visitor’s shopping path and to interact with them before, during and after their shopping, to improve their understanding of the shopper’s behaviour and therefore their ability to serve and target them better. Having prior knowledge of the visitor’s profile can give an edge in getting them to convert sales. Furthermore, URP helps to create new reward campaigns. I’m pretty confident about this platform and would be working on it soon.
